The Application Data folder should now be visible.
Click on the Show hidden files and folders radio button under Advanced settings.
Choose Folder Options from the drop down menu.
Click on Tools from the menu at the top of the screen.
If you do not see Application Data simply do the following:
Double click the Application Data folder.
Double click the folder with your Username.
Double click the Documents and Settings folder.
You will also need to delete the Spore settings in the Documents and Settings folder.
Right-click on the Spore folder and choose Delete.
Double-click the Electronic Arts folder.
Double-click the Local Disk (by default, it should be C:).
Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
You are now ready to manually uninstall Spore.ĭelete the game folders (in the default location):
Follow the instructions above to copy and save the file to a different location.
Under Roaming, you should see a Spore folder.
Click on the Pearl ( Windows button) on the Windows Taskbar.
You can also save the file to any other media you wish, such as a thumb drive or CD.
Go to the location where you want to save your backup folder, right-click, and select Paste from the menu.
Right-click on the Spore folder and select Copy from the menu.
Under Application Data, you should see a Spore folder

Note: If you do not see the Application Data folder:
Double-click on the Application Data folder.
Double-click on the folder with your Username.
Double-click on the Documents and Settings folder.
Click the Start button on the Windows Task Bar.
You can find the Spore save data in the Application Data folder under your Username. Be sure to follow these steps exactly as they appear to prevent accidental file/program deletion on your system. You can manually uninstall Spore by removing the files and registry keys associated with it.
